HT Protein Express LabChip® GXII Assay Kit

Overview

The HT Protein Expression 200 LabChip assay kit designed for use on the LabChip GXII provides a fast and easy way to analyze a wide range of protein samples ranging from 14kDa to 200kDa.  Running protein samples with the Protein Express assay saves time and money by automating steps for protein analysis, and replaces SDS-PAGE slab gels, staining, and imaging.

The LabChip GXII Electrophoresis System uses a single sipper microfluidic chip to aspirate denatured protein samples directly from 96- or 384-well plates. The microfluidics chip technology automatically stains, electrophoretically separates, and destains the protein sample.  The instrument optics detect the laser-induced fluorescent protein signal.  System software automatically analyzes the data and determines protein size and concentration relative to a ladder and marker calibration standard.  Digital data results are immediately available for review or reporting in virtual gel, electropherogram graph, or table summary form.
