Sciclone i1000 Liquid Handling Workstation
Overview
The Sciclone i1000 liquid handling workstation uses Caliper Life Sciences' exclusive multi-MEMS technology to provide closed loop control for accurate, independent pipetting from low to high-volume.
Each of the 96 channels is capable of delivering a discrete, independent volume of liquid. This allows complex plate maps to be dispensed in parallel. These can represent detailed experiments designed by an operator, or be automatically calculated from a reader, spreadsheet, database, or even under the direct control of complex LIMS or Design of Experiment (DOE) software. Disposable tips, and integrated gripper option for plate and lid management makes i1000 an excellent platform for a variety of applications, including cell-based assays.
Additionally, each of the 96 independently controlled pipetting channels is capable of detecting microplate well liquid levels and measuring actual pipetted liquid volumes.
