AutoTrace® SPE Workstation
Overview
A perfect complement to high-speed analytical techniques, the AutoTrace SPE is a powerful, high-throughput workstation dedicated specifically for automating Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) for environmental cleanup. The AutoTrace automates the cartridge conditioning, sample loading and elution steps for large volume aqueous solution sample extractions (up to 2000ml's) traditionally used in environmental sample cleanup and analysis.
The unit can process up to six samples in parallel, automatically conditioning, washing, and eluting SPE cartridges with a choice of up to five reagents. The unit also segregates aqueous and solvent waste using separate waste lines for efficient, cost effective waste handling.
Primarily used for environmental water analysis, the unit is designed to automate the requirements of standard US EPA water analysis methods, as well as other sample preparation and clean up methods.

Features
The AutoTrace automatically conditions, rinses and elutes industry standard Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) cartridges and disks with a choice of up to five reagents.
• Powerful valveless positive displacement pumps simultaneously load six samples for single or batch processing.
• Wide range of sample volume allows the AutoTrace to loads ample volumes from 10mL to 2000mL.
• Offers choice of four different elution containers:
o 16mm x 100mm test tube, 17mm x 60mm vial,
o 11mm GC vial or 4mL WISP vial, and Conical
o Bottom, 15mL centrifuge tube racks.
• Segregates aqueous and solvent waste using separate waste lines affording cost savings on waste disposal
• Operates on the lab-bench with solvent vapor venting to hood
o RS 232 connection for connection to Controller (PC)
o User friendly software ideal for method development and method creation
