Benefits


Caliper offers a competitive compensation and benefits program to reward and provide peace of mind to our employees. In addition to competitive base salaries, our compensation program includes performance bonuses and stock option grants.

Health Benefits
Caliper offers a medical plan with several coverage options to fit the diversified needs of our employees and their families, including domestic partners. We also offer dental care, vision care, life and accidental insurance, and both long and short term disability coverage. Finally, Caliper offers health and dependent care reimbursement programs. These programs allow you to set aside a portion of your salary on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified health and dependent care expenses.

401(k)
Caliper's 401(k) plan is administered by Fidelity Investments, and employees may enroll at the beginning immediately following their hire date. Employees may invest up to 60 percent of their salary on a pre-tax basis (up to IRS maximum) in up to 23 Fidelity fund options. Our plan accepts rollovers from other IRS qualified plans.

Stock Option Plan
Our comprehensive compensation packages include a stock option plan in which qualified employees receive option grants as part of their total compensation package.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
Caliper's Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) provides the opportunity to purchase common stock in Caliper. Employees may contribute up to 10% of their pay to this plan. Shares are purchased at 85% of the lower of either the price of the stock on the first day of a purchase period or the price on the last day of the purchase period. New hires can begin participation in the ESPP at the beginning of the first semi-annual offering period following their date of employment, subject to enrollment terms.

Tuition Reimbursement
Caliper offers tuition reimbursement for courses that are job-related and pre-approved by management for both undergraduate and graduate level coursework and degreed programs.

Vacation
All regular full-time employees accrue three weeks of paid vacation per year.

Holidays
Caliper has eleven paid company holidays per year.

Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
Employees and their families, as well as domestic partners, are eligible to receive EAP services that help to balance and simplify busy lives. Benefit services include financial, legal, pre-retirement, identity theft, eldercare and child-care consultations, as well as clinical counseling.
